Issue/Rationale

James Turner, referred hereinas "Respondent", appealed the Board's initial approval of the Superintendent's recommendation that he be disciplined for cause. The hearing officer, Carol Studdard, after full hearing, has signed a Recommended Order modifying the recommended discipline.

It is up to the full Board to either, (1) grant Respondent's appeal, thereby rejecting the Superintendent's and Hearing Officer Studdard's recommendation, or (2) adopt Hearing Officer Studdard's Recommended Order.

Recommended Action
Adopt the hearing officer's Recommended Order as a Final Order.
